One dollar from each ticket sold for this event is being donated to The International Bluegrass Music Association’s trust fund! The IBMA Trust Fund benefits bluegrass professionals in times of emergency. It helped out the late, great Charles Sawtelle when he needed a bone marrow transplant, so were going to ‘put some back’ in his name. With the support of The IBMA, Charles was able to live a little longer and give a lot of inspiration to the people around him. Thank you Charles, you are dearly missed. Thank you, IBMA, for aiding such a great man. And thank you, festivarian, for contributing to the fund. ![]() Please Know: The success of this event is extremely important to Nederland’s music community as a whole. While at the festival, please help make the weekend a good, relaxing time for everyone, especially for the people who live in Nederland year-round who have graciously accepted this festival as something new. Festival Hours: Gates open at 10:30 AM each day. Music starts at 11:00 AM. Get there early! Camping Information: There is no camping in the Town of Nederland. If you want to camp during the festival weekend, please call the campgrounds at Kelly Dahl, Golden Gate Canyon National Park, Brainard Lake or Rainbow Lakes. They can be found in the phone book. Please Do Not Bring: Dogs, Frisbees, Glass, Alcohol, Recording Devices or Video Cameras Weather: Prepare for any weather. August is usually pretty nice in Ned, but it could become rainy, snowy, windy or sunny at any time without warning. Bring sunscreen, rain gear and warm clothes. Parking Information: Follow the signs to find the Festival parking lots in and around Nederland. Remember... Absolutly No Residential Parking in Town. Handicapped parking will be available close to the festival. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOG IN YOUR CAR!!!
