Rules for Family Camping in Chipeta Park.

** Note: The campground is NOT a party place.

Friday and Saturday night only - No camping allowed Sunday overnight.
Tents must be taken down and sites cleaned no later than 3pm Sunday

Camping Permits will be issued on a first come-first serve basis. 200 people will be allowed to camp with a maximum 100 campsites total. No more than one tent per site and no more than two people per tent. Because of this, permits for two people for two nights will have priority over single night and single person permits.

Campers must register upon arrival to Chipeta Park. Please check-in and set-up as early as possible. Registration begins Friday at noon. Part of the registration process includes signing an agreement stating that you will adhere to the rules and regulations of Chipeta Park Family Camping…

- Campground MUST be quiet once the Festival has come to a close at 10:30pm each night
- Amplified sound will NOT be allowed in the Park, including boom boxes and musical instruments
- Acoustic music WILL be allowed inside the Pavilion until the Festival ends at 10:30pm each night
- Absolutely NO drumming will be allowed in the Park
- A single fire WILL be allowed in the Pavilion’s fireplace, which must be extinguished by 10:30pm nightly
- Cooking SHALL be limited to the Pavilion and/or the pre-existing grill areas along the creek
- NO Swimming or Bathing is allowed in the creek or in the pond
- Bathing is NOT allowed in the restrooms at the Pavilion
- NO Dogs, Glass or Alcohol are allowed in the Park
- Clean up after yourself and do not litter

Special wristbands will be issued to campers upon registration.
An official NedFest Tent Tag will be attached to every registered tent following set-up.
Regular patrols will be conducted by Campsite Staff.

Only one vehicle per campsite will be allowed. Upon registration, each campsite will get a Parking Pass to be placed on the dashboard of their vehicle. Parking for campers will be along Lakeview Drive and in the Chipeta Park parking lot. Campers are encouraged to NOT move their car until the Festival’s end.

Note: Several parking spots in the Chipeta lot must be left available for public use of the Park.

There will be a small number of sites available for RV’s in the Chipeta lot, but no tie-ins to electricity will be allowed.
